And just like that…

Another year passes! That’s right, this would be birthday week here in Pulpland. And what a year it has been. Don’t need to dwell on the pandemic but it certainly has been front and center for most of us, which is why the recent announcement that masks are no longer required for the vaccinated (in most places) comes as some extremely welcome news! Of course, seems a bit confusing with not quite half of the population vaccinated and/or, going by the “honor” system, but we’ll take it. There is a sit down restaurant meal in our future for sure!

I was texting (the new normal for communicating) with an old friend the other day, catching up on what’s going on and he mentioned “beginning a new chapter” in his life. Thinking about that, and with the B-day and all, I realized that this past year has been exactly that for me. Let’s see now….left a job of 15 years, spent a lot of quality time in “lock down” mode, started a website, wrote a book, finished building a greenhouse, started playing music and writing songs, released a few new singles, moved a good portion of the way across the country (and well into renovations there)…yup, I’d say that was a new chapter for sure!

Big week on Pulp Improvements, finished install of the new LVT flooring (that vinyl tile that looks like wood) in the guest room and I must say, getting pretty good at that. Posted some pics on the New Pulp and Pulp Improvements pages. Ready for paint and the new furniture to arrive. Also making major headway on the Pulp Work Shop which came in handy for the long cuts on the LVT flooring (as in, the table saw)!

Currently on version 5 of the new “Pulp Wildlife” photography book. Seems that Apple Books has a mind of its own and likes to make changes to the formatting when you go to publish. While it is available for sale, not quite the way I want it to look yet, so will let you know when that happens (I never give up when it comes to beating the computer)!

Hope all is well with all and see you next week!
