Where did he….

Go? That’s right, you may have noticed we did not post last week and for good reason. Decided to take a well deserved week off and enjoy the holiday! Being Thanksgiving and all, seemed appropriate especially after the most interesting year we have had. Currently sitting at 15 weeks post open heart surgery and just finished ninth week of Cardio Rehab class (3 to go, woo hoo!) Had been given the full on “return to normal operations” from the good surgeon and so I did…resulting in my lovely new chest scar opening up in a few areas and looking a little like it is on fire. Intent here is not to get infected badly so we are all keeping an eye on it and just finished a round of antibiotics so fingers crossed, all healed up soon. That said, there is much to be done on current new Pulpland renovations and we have taken over full responsibility for getting those done (as in, we have said goodbye to the contractor who was initially hired to get everything done). Quick glance has his completion percentage at about 60, so yes, much left to do. And I was totally down for that and well underway when the old scar popped open. So, trying to avoid things that expand the rib cage as best possible, which is pretty near impossible unless you just sit in a chair and don’t move, which I have already spent plenty of time doing, mainly in those early weeks after the surgery so not looking to repeat that (going with the power of positive thought healing process, plus two a day wound treatments)!

Busy, yes, and quite happy about that. Just last week we were able to finally use the main bathroom again (the shower is awesome) and just yesterday, had the kitchen back to functioning status (sink, dishwasher, garbage disposal and stove all up and running). Lots of cosmetic things left to do in the way of backsplash tile, final paint, etc., and putting the old exhaust hood in. Good times indeed!

Working on a new video that features the work we did on the new Pulp Game Room and one of my songs, “Listen” as performed by the Low Mass Tone band back in the day. Should be ready soon and will post it up here on the New Pulp page when done.

Hope you all had a most wonderful Thanksgiving and see you next week!
